Custom CNC Turning for Round Parts
CNC turning is commonly used for parts based around a round profile. During the process, the workpiece rotates while cutting tools produce diameters, shoulders, grooves, bores, threads and other features.
Anco Precision reviews turned components from customer drawings and CAD models. Stock size, material, quantity, geometry and tolerance requirements all affect how a turning job should be approached.

Parts With Turned and Milled Features
Some components begin with turned geometry but also require flats, cross holes, slots or other secondary features. Send the complete finished-part drawing so every required operation can be reviewed.
What to Include With a Turning RFQ
Provide the drawing or STEP model, material, quantity, tolerances, threads, surface-finish requirements and requested completion date. The drawing generally serves as the controlling specification.
